Basic Handgun

This four hour introductory course is geared towards new handgun shooters. Students will learn to shoot semi-automatic pistols by combining classroom instruction and live fire. It begins with an overview of firearm safety and range rules for safe gun handling. We will then cover parts, operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, and shooting positions. The class will transfer into the range to put these skills to the test. Each student will be able to demonstrate proper handling of the firearm, loading and unloading proficiency, and immediate action drills for their firearm.
